AI Voice

Give your words a voice

AI Voice is a text-to-speech web app. Paste any text and hear it read aloud in one of thirty natural voices. Describe the delivery you want and the model adapts its tone, pace and emphasis to match.

What AI Voice does

AI Voice turns written text into spoken audio. You paste or type what you want said, choose a voice, and the app generates an audio file you can play in the browser or download. It is built for narrating articles and scripts, drafting voiceovers, proofreading writing by ear and making written material available to people who would rather listen than read.

  1. Write or paste your text

Up to 5,000 characters at a time. Longer passages are split automatically, generated in parallel and stitched back together into one continuous recording.

  2. Choose a voice and describe the delivery

Thirty voices, from bright and upbeat to measured and authoritative. You can also describe the reading you want in plain language — “calm documentary narrator”, “excited podcast host” — and the model adapts its tone, pace and emphasis.

  3. Listen, download, or come back to it later

Audio plays straight away in the browser and can be downloaded as a file. Everything you generate stays in your history so you can find it again.

A free account includes 45 seconds of generated audio each month. Longer clips and higher volumes are available as paid credit. Speech is generated using Google's Gemini speech models.

Why AI Voice asks you to sign in with Google

Signing in is what ties generated audio, history and credit balance to you rather than to a browser. AI Voice uses Sign in with Google so that it never has to ask you to invent another password, and never has to store one.

What it receives

  • Your Google account ID
  • Your email address, and whether Google has verified it
  • Your name
  • Your profile picture
  • Your locale

These come from the basic sign-in scopes — the same ones any “Sign in with Google” button requests.

What it never touches

  • Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Contacts or Photos
  • Anything you have stored in your Google account
  • Your Google password

AI Voice requests no sensitive or restricted scopes, so there is nothing else it could read even if it tried.

Your details are used to sign you in, show who you are in the app and contact you about your account. They are not sold, and not shared with advertisers. Read the privacy policy and the terms of service for the full account, including how to delete yours.
